Independent tests confirm Continental cold weather tyres are the best.

Continental Tyres has been awarded top accolades by four leading German consumer motoring magazines for its range of cold weather tyres. The tests, carried out by AutoBild, AutoBild Sportscars, Auto Motor & Sport and Powercar, demonstrate the superior performance of Continental’s cold weather tyre range.

Tyre performance was put through its paces in dry, wet and snowy conditions.  The Conti TS 810, winner of the test carried out in AutoBild, was described as being the "best all-rounder” in the test, offering “a dynamic and sporty drive, excellent steering precision and short braking distances on wet surfaces".  AutoBild Sportscars also rated the ContiWinterContact TS 810 Sport as the clear winner and the TS 810 scored well in Powercar’s tests, coming second for its “very balanced performance across all criteria, especially on dry ground.”The Conti TS 810 S was rated as the best by Auto Motor and Sport magazine in its ‘wet and wear’ tests. The tyre scored highly for its exceptional safe braking in wet and snowy conditions. Since last year, Continental Tyres has expanded its cold weather tyre range, adding the ContiWinterContact TS 800, a cold weather tyre for compact-category vehicles.  With improved handling and shortened braking distance on cold, wet roads as well as snow-covered and icy roads, the new tyre is an all-round winter performer for cars such as Skoda Felicia, VW Polo, Ford Fiesta and Vauxhall Corsa.
